Buying tickets in Phuket
The Phuket Smart Bus is the cheapest way south to Patong, Karon, Kata and Rawai โ a flat 100 baht whatever your stop. Board at the domestic terminal: exit Gate 3, walk past the Amazon Cafe, and the stop is opposite. Buses leave roughly hourly from about 08:15 to 23:30. Taxi scams & safety in Phuket
Phuket airport taxis are notoriously pricey, so agree the number before you get in โ expect roughly 700-800 baht to Patong.
