Rome Fiumicino Airport ground transport
Rome Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" is Italy's busiest airport, about 30 km southwest of the city on the coast. The dedicated Leonardo Express train runs nonstop to Roma Termini for a flat €14, the cheaper FL1 regional train serves Trastevere, Ostiense and Tiburtina, and budget coaches also reach Termini. Official white taxis charge a fixed €55 per car to anywhere inside the Aurelian walls (and €130 to the Civitavecchia cruise port). This guide compares price, time and frequency for every popular destination.
