About GetFromAirport
GetFromAirport is an independent guide to one practical question: you have landed — how do you get from the terminal to where you are staying, and what will it cost? It currently covers 87 airports and 722 airport-to-destination routes.
What each guide does
Every route page lays out the realistic ways to make one journey — train, metro, bus, shared shuttle, taxi, private transfer and hire car — with the fare, the journey time, how often it runs and where you catch it. Where public transport needs a change, or stops running at night, the page says so. The verdict at the top of each page is worked out from those figures, not written to favour any operator.
How the guides are researched
Fares, timetables and pickup points come from the organisations that set them: airport operators, rail companies, city transit authorities and published taxi tariffs. Taxi and transfer prices are given as the range travellers are quoted today, because they vary with traffic, time and demand. Pages whose figures have been held against named sources list those sources at the bottom with the date they were checked, and carry a “Fares checked” date in the header. Pages that have not yet been through that check show an “Updated” date instead. The full process is on how we check fares.
Who writes them
The guides are compiled by the GetFromAirport editors, who research each route from the sources above and use software tools to help gather and draft material. Everything published is reviewed against those sources before it goes live. We do not claim to have personally ridden every route; where we tell you something, it is because a source we can name says so.
How the site is funded
GetFromAirport does not sell tickets or transfers and is not owned by, or affiliated with, any airport, transport operator or booking site. The site is funded by advertising. Ads are labelled, are served by a third party, and have no influence on which option a page recommends. See our advertising and editorial policy.
Corrections and contact
If a fare, a timetable or a pickup point here is wrong, please tell us through the contact page. Corrections go into the page itself and its check date moves forward.
