Nice Côte d'Azur Airport ground transport

Nice has two terminals (T1 and T2) joined by a free tram shuttle, and the ground-transport picture is unusually good for a Riviera airport. Tram Line 2 stops right outside both terminals and runs to Jean Médecin, Garibaldi and Port Lympia in about 25-30 minutes for a single €1.70 ticket — valid 74 minutes with transfers onto the wider Lignes d'Azur network — every 8-10 minutes from ~05:24 to ~00:15. For destinations beyond Nice, Zou! Express airport coaches leave the Terminal 2 bus station: line 80 to Monaco and Menton (~€20.50, ~45-50 min), line 81 to Cannes (~€19, ~50 min) and line 82 to Antibes and Juan-les-Pins (€10.50, ~40 min). The coastal TER train is often the quickest link east or west — Nice-Saint-Augustin station is one tram stop (or a 10-minute walk) from the terminals and puts Villefranche, Monaco, Antibes and Cannes within easy reach. Taxis wait outside arrivals and charge government-set flat fares by zone (around €32 to central Nice, €75 to Antibes, €85 to Cannes, €95 to Monaco), with a night and Sunday surcharge. Pre-booked private transfers offer a fixed door-to-door price with flight tracking, and every major rental firm has a desk at the airport car-hire centre. This guide compares price, time and frequency for the destinations travellers search for most.
