Palma de Mallorca Airport (Son Sant Joan) is the third-busiest airport in Spain and handles most of the island's summer tourism, so the transport question is really "which resort am I heading to?". For Palma itself, the EMT A1 bus leaves from opposite the arrivals hall every 12-20 minutes (with night runs until about 03:10) and reaches the city and Es Baluard in around 20 minutes for €5 cash (€3 with a contactless bank card). Resort travellers use the seasonal AEROTIB coaches run by TIB: the A11 links Palmanova, Magaluf, Santa Ponsa and Peguera; the A32 heads north to Alcúdia, Playa de Muro and Can Picafort; the A42 serves Cala Millor and Sa Coma; the A51 runs to Campos with onward connections. Timetables change by season (the A11 runs all year), so out of season check TIB's current timetable; if your line is not running, route via Palma's Intermodal Station and change to an intercity line. Taxis wait at a rank directly outside arrivals and charge by meter with island-wide reference tariffs (roughly €20 to Palma, up to ~€90 for the eastern resorts).
