Antalya Airport to Okurcalar
Okurcalar is about 90 km east of Antalya Airport on the Alanya road. Cheapest is Havaş to the otogar plus an Alanya coach (680 TRY total); fastest is a taxi or booked transfer at around 80 minutes.

Okurcalar's hotels sit on the D400 between Manavgat and Alanya, about 90 km from Antalya Airport. No bus runs there directly, so travellers choose between a cheap two-coach chain through the Antalya otogar, a metered taxi or a flat-price transfer. For anything more than two people, the numbers favour booking a vehicle.

Buying tickets in Antalya
Antalya uses the reloadable AntalyaKart for the T2 (Antray) tram that leaves directly from the airport terminal, plus city buses and dolmuş. Buy and load the card at the machine on the airport tram platform, or from AntalyaKart kiosks and the Android app; the blank card costs about 100 TL and a single ride is roughly 27 TL. You tap the card on boarding rather than paying the driver. There is no contactless bank-card tap on the tram, so load enough credit before you travel.
Taxi scams & safety in Antalya
The tram is fixed-fare and scam-proof, which is the main reason to use it. If you take a taxi, use the official rank outside arrivals and insist the meter (taksimetre) runs; drivers who quote a flat price or claim the meter is broken usually overcharge, especially with luggage. Do not follow touts inside the terminal offering a car. Uber operates in Antalya but mostly dispatches licensed taxis. Agree nothing verbally, and keep small notes so a driver cannot claim to have no change.
Step-free access in Antalya
The terminal is well set up; the onward journey is where you need to plan.
- Inside the airport, all floors are flat and stair-free with lifts and ramps throughout, low-height check-in and information counters, accessible toilets, and lifts with Braille and audible announcements. Wheelchairs and personal assistance are available from arrival, arranged at the information counter.
- There are 19 accessible parking spaces — 7 at the Domestic Terminal, 12 at the International Terminals.
- For the journey onward, Antalya does not publish step-free details for the tram and public buses, so we cannot state whether a given vehicle will board without steps.
If you need guaranteed step-free transport to your hotel, book an accessible transfer in advance and confirm the vehicle type with the operator. Several Antalya companies run wheelchair-accessible vehicles specifically for airport transfers.
Getting from AYT to Okurcalar
Ninety kilometres of D400
Okurcalar is a resort village on the Alanya side of Manavgat, roughly 90 km from Antalya Airport along the D400. It is closer to Alanya than to Side, and its hotels line the coast either side of the highway, with the Karaburun headland and its resorts just next door. Transfer firms put the drive at about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. That is long enough for price differences between options to add up, so this page leads with the money.
What a family of four pays
- Bus chain: 680 TRY each (Havaş 230 TRY to the otogar, then an Alanya coach at 450 TRY), so about 2,720 TRY for four, with children usually paying full fare on intercity coaches.
- Metered taxi: one car, roughly 5,800–7,000 TRY on the reported 2026 Antalya tariff for about 90 km.
- Pre-booked car or van: about €50–81 for the vehicle, depending on seller and size.
The bus is only cheapest per head if you are travelling alone or as a couple and can manage the change. For four, the booked van often ends up in a similar bracket to four bus tickets, and you skip the otogar entirely.
Doing it on the coach
Havaş is the only scheduled airport coach in Antalya and it goes to the city, not along the coast. Its official route lists the Bus Terminal (otogar) among its stops on the way to Konyaaltı; the fare is 230 TRY and the ride is roughly 45 minutes when traffic is light. At the otogar, look for the Alanya departures: obilet lists 27 a day on Antalya–Alanya, at 450 TRY, run by Alanyalılar Turizm, Güney Akdeniz and Isparta Petrol. They follow the D400, so Okurcalar is on the way. Buy the ticket to Alanya, tell the conductor your hotel or "Okurcalar" when you board, and ask to be let off on the main road.
The coach timetable to Alanya is listed at close to three hours end to end, so allow two and a half hours to Okurcalar from the otogar on a slow service, plus the Havaş ride and any wait. Call it three and a half hours from landing.
Two practical notes on the otogar. The ticket offices for each coach company sit side by side, so it is easy to compare departure times before buying; pick the next bus rather than a particular firm. And the drop on the D400 is at the roadside, sometimes on the opposite side from your hotel, so look for a footbridge or a signalled crossing rather than walking a case across a dual carriageway.
When the taxi makes sense
Antalya airport taxis are metered. The rate quoted in a 2026 summary of the UKOME tariff is 60 TRY to start plus 70 TRY per kilometre, with a 250 TRY minimum; we could not view the municipal decision directly, so the range given here is an estimate. The rank outside arrivals always has cars, which is the taxi's main selling point: no booking, no voucher, no waiting for a coach. Watch that the meter is reset and running when you pull away, and be wary of a round-number cash price offered before you get in.
Small-hours charter landings
Okurcalar is a package-holiday village, and a lot of its guests arrive on charters that land after midnight. At that hour the two-bus chain is not a realistic plan. A booked transfer is priced the same at 03:00 as at 15:00, which is exactly what you want when the alternative is negotiating at a taxi rank. Booking sites selling this route include Suntransfers (private car from about €78, minivan from about €81), Kiwitaxi, and local Antalya firms that list vans from roughly €50.
Two things people get wrong
First, Gazipaşa–Alanya Airport is not your airport unless your ticket says GZP. It is a separate, smaller airport east of Alanya, and transfers from there to Okurcalar cost noticeably more. Second, "Okurcalar" and "Karaburun" hotels are often listed separately on booking sites even though they sit side by side; enter the exact hotel name, not just the village, so the driver goes straight to the right gate.
