Antalya Airport to Kızılağaç (Manavgat hotel strip)
Kızılağaç is about 78 km east of Antalya Airport. The cheapest way is Havaş to the otogar (230 TRY) plus an Alanya coach (450 TRY); the fastest is a taxi or booked car, about 70 minutes.

Kızılağaç is the strip of big beach resorts just east of Manavgat, beside the D400 coast road. No airport bus goes there directly, so you either stitch together the Havaş coach and an intercity bus for well under 1,000 lira, or pay for a car that takes a little over an hour. Here is how each option works and what it really costs.
How far is Kızılağaç (Manavgat hotel strip) from Antalya Airport?
Kızılağaç (Manavgat hotel strip) is 78 km (48 miles) from Antalya Airport by road, about 1h 10m by car outside rush hour. In a straight line it is 69 km. By public transport, Bus / shuttle takes about 3h including a change and costs ₺680.
Every way to get there
Our verdict: Bus / shuttle is the cheapest way at ₺680 (3h, with a change on the way). A private transfer from ₺2669.5 saves roughly 1h 50m and takes you to the door. For three or four people sharing, the private transfer works out cheaper than four tickets.
What it costs for your group
The bus / shuttle is charged per person, while a private transfer is one price for the whole car — so the more of you there are, the better door-to-door value looks.
| Group | Bus / shuttle (per person) | Private transfer (per car) | Best value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo · 1 traveller | ₺680 | ₺2,670 | Bus / shuttle |
| Couple · 2 travellers | ₺1,360 | ₺2,670 | Bus / shuttle |
| Family of 4 · 4 travellers | ₺2,720 | ₺2,670 | Private transfer |

Buying tickets in Antalya
Antalya uses the reloadable AntalyaKart for the T2 (Antray) tram that leaves directly from the airport terminal, plus city buses and dolmuş. Buy and load the card at the machine on the airport tram platform, or from AntalyaKart kiosks and the Android app; the blank card costs about 100 TL and a single ride is roughly 27 TL. You tap the card on boarding rather than paying the driver. There is no contactless bank-card tap on the tram, so load enough credit before you travel.
Taxi scams & safety in Antalya
The tram is fixed-fare and scam-proof, which is the main reason to use it. If you take a taxi, use the official rank outside arrivals and insist the meter (taksimetre) runs; drivers who quote a flat price or claim the meter is broken usually overcharge, especially with luggage. Do not follow touts inside the terminal offering a car. Uber operates in Antalya but mostly dispatches licensed taxis. Agree nothing verbally, and keep small notes so a driver cannot claim to have no change.
Step-free access in Antalya
The terminal is well set up; the onward journey is where you need to plan.
- Inside the airport, all floors are flat and stair-free with lifts and ramps throughout, low-height check-in and information counters, accessible toilets, and lifts with Braille and audible announcements. Wheelchairs and personal assistance are available from arrival, arranged at the information counter.
- There are 19 accessible parking spaces — 7 at the Domestic Terminal, 12 at the International Terminals.
- For the journey onward, Antalya does not publish step-free details for the tram and public buses, so we cannot state whether a given vehicle will board without steps.
If you need guaranteed step-free transport to your hotel, book an accessible transfer in advance and confirm the vehicle type with the operator. Several Antalya companies run wheelchair-accessible vehicles specifically for airport transfers.
Getting from AYT to Kızılağaç (Manavgat hotel strip)
Where Kızılağaç actually is
Kızılağaç is not a town you drive into so much as a run of large beach hotels strung along the shore east of Manavgat, between Side and the Alanya road. Most of the properties are all-inclusive resorts with their own gates on the D400 coastal highway. From Antalya Airport it is about 78 km by road, and a car takes a little over an hour once you are clear of the airport junction. That D400 detail matters for every option below: the coaches use the same road, the taxis use the same road, and your hotel gate is almost always within a few hundred metres of it.
The bus chain, link by link
There is no direct public bus from the airport to Kızılağaç. Havaş, which runs the official airport coach, only serves Antalya city: its route from Antalya Airport runs along Serik Caddesi and the city boulevards, with stops that include the intercity bus terminal (otogar), and ends at the Konyaaltı Migros shopping centre. The published fare is 230 TRY and the operator gives the journey as about 45 minutes, warning that traffic can stretch it.
Get off at the otogar stop. From there, intercity coaches to Alanya leave through the day; obilet currently lists 27 daily departures on Antalya–Alanya with Alanyalılar, Güney Akdeniz and Isparta Petrol, at 450 TRY. Those coaches run east on the D400 past Manavgat and the Kızılağaç hotel strip. Tell the driver or the assistant your hotel name when you board and ask to be set down on the main road ("yol üstü") by it; you will be paying the Alanya fare even though you leave the bus earlier. Call the whole chain 680 TRY per person and something like three hours, more if the transfer at the otogar is badly timed.
It works, and it is the cheapest way by a wide margin, but it suits light packers. You will drag cases off one bus, through a busy terminal and onto another, and then possibly walk from the highway to reception.
Metered taxi: how the maths works
Antalya's airport taxis run on the meter, not a destination price list. A transfer company's 2026 summary of the municipal (UKOME) tariff puts it at a 60 TRY opening fee plus 70 TRY per kilometre; we could not open the UKOME decision itself, so treat that as indicative. On those numbers a 78 km ride lands at roughly 5,000–6,000 TRY for the car, before any waiting. Ask for the meter to be switched on at the rank, and if a driver offers a flat price instead, compare it with that figure before agreeing.
For a couple, the taxi costs several times what a booked car does. For four adults with luggage it still rarely beats a pre-booked minivan.
Booking a car ahead
This is the route where pre-booking earns its keep. Transfer sellers price Kızılağaç as a single flat sum per vehicle, quoted in euros: Mytransfers lists about €47.50 one way for an SUV or minivan carrying up to six, and local operators advertise Vito-class vans at roughly €49–60 and a Sprinter at around €70. The point is that you know the total before you fly, and it does not move if you land in the middle of the night or the D400 is crawling with Saturday changeover traffic. Pay attention to which hotel you enter on the booking; several Kızılağaç resorts have similar names and the driver will go where the voucher says.
Arriving after dark
Charter flights into Antalya often land late in the evening or in the small hours. The bus chain is weakest then: the coaches from the otogar thin out, and changing buses at night with luggage is no fun. A taxi from the rank is always available, but a pre-arranged car is the calmer choice for a 02:00 arrival because the price is already settled. If your package includes a hotel coach, check the voucher before buying anything else; many Kızılağaç resorts are sold with transfers bundled in.
Lira or euro?
Public transport and taxis are priced in Turkish lira, and the bus fares above are the operators' own figures. Private transfer sites price in euros. Carry some lira for the otogar ticket office and for tipping a driver, and pay the meter in lira if you can; drivers may accept euros but the exchange rate they use will rarely favour you.
